When will my item ship?
Most items ship within 2-4 business days via usps priority or international. If an email or phone number is added at the time of purchase you will get confirmation sent there. Once the package has left our facility we have no control over delays or scans. If you have scan/delay questions please contact the carrier.
If you have a request:
such as holding the shipment because you are out of town or discreet packaging. You need to contact us prior to purchase and wait for confirmation from us before proceeding. If you make the request after purchasing we do not guarantee that we will see the request in time.
Do you accept returns?
Yes, our return policy lasts 5 days. If 5 days have gone by, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Your return must be at the courier of your choice by day 5 of receiving in its original state with any accessories included. Day 1 is day delivered. No exceptions so please plan ahead if one of those days is a holiday or Sunday. Please allow 24 business hours for a response so please plan ahead if contacting for a return. Do not wait until the day your return is due to be mailed back to contact for the first time because responses may take up to 24 business hours and this would put you past your return window. We are closed Sundays so make sure you plan ahead in contacting us for a return. If your return is postmarked after day 5 your return will be refused and sent back. In the event of a return you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. To be eligible for a return, your wig/topper/extensions must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Unworn and lace uncut, hair uncut, no color or cap adjustments made. It must also be in the original packaging. All shipping costs are non-refundable. If you are an international customer and you do not select to pay import/brokerage fees and we are sent a bill you will be charged for these shipping charges as well as a restocking fee. You should consider using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance - in the event of a lost or delayed package you will be glad you purchased insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Rejecting a delivery or refusing to pick up an item as required may result in the item being sent back. This qualifies as an unauthorized return and increases the risk of loss of package. If an unauthorized return is received by us it will be returned to you. You will send your return request to support@Luswigs.com and we will provide you with the return address. In your email please include your tracking ID and whether you want a refund or an exchange so we know how to process your order. If you do not inform us in your return correspondence that you wish for a credit by default you will be refunded less a restock fee. Hair care products/wig grips/wig caps are not eligible for return/exchange/refund due to the nature of the product. Using signature requirement may lead to a delay in processing your return.
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any items purchased through Sezzle, Affirm, AFTERPAY, Shoppay or other Payment Plan options. No exceptions. No refunds when using one of these services at checkout
If I order multiple wigs in a single order how do returns/exchanges work?
We are unable to issue partial credits and partial restocking fees on a single order. For this reason, if you plan to purchase multiple pieces at one time please do so in multiple orders.
Store credit policies:
Store credits can not be cancelled or converted back to a refund. If you use a store credit to buy something of lesser value, please reach out to us at support@Luswigs.com so that we can issue you anew store credit for your remaining balance. We do not offer partial refunds if you do not use your full store credit. If you use a store credit to purchase an item of higher value which requires partial credit and partial payment and return the item you will only have the option of taking a credit for the new amount.
How long does it take to get my refund?
Please allow 7 days for your return to be processed. Once it’s been approved your refund notification will be sent automatically to your email/phone number on your account and may take up to 10 days to show back on your method of payment
Do you charge cancellation or restock fees?
yes, returned stock pieces have a restocking fee of 15%
If you placed an order for a stock piece and wish to cancel it before an order is processed, you have the following options:
refund with 10% cancellation fee
exchange to any other product without any restocking fee

Is there a restocking/cancellation fee if I exchange or take a store credit?
We offer one free exchange to another in stock item
Can I return after the 5 day return policy if I have a problem?
Please inspect your order upon delivery for any flaws PRIOR to cutting the lace or altering the piece in any way and contact us immediately if you believe the item is defective so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Regardless of any potential issue once the lace is cut or item is worn or altered in any way there is nothing further we can do! No exceptions. Second hand purchases are not covered by any of our policies, please contact the private seller for assistance as we are unable to get involved in second hand purchases. Only purchases made directly from us will be covered under our policies. Once a piece has been in the hands of a 3rd party such as a resale site, sold in a private sale, handled in a salon etc. you have voided our return policy and any guarantees. You will be ineligible for a return/exchange/refund and unfortunately we will not be able to assist you.
The color/cut doesn’t look the same as it did in the photos
This is normal, variations in color due to lighting and displays is normal. We do our best to make sure our pieces are photographed in the lighting that best reflects the color. We will do our best to take additional photos in alternate lighting if requested prior to purchase. If requested post purchase we can’t guarantee we will see the request before it ships so we ask that you please ask prior to purchase. Returns due to a color discrepancy will be refunded less a restock fee as all returns are; no exceptions! We try hard to catch any potential color flaws and when we find them we will always point them out in photos and label it as a flawed piece but when pieces are hand painted and knots bleached by hand there is a potential for flaws we do not catch. (Colors bleed, Gloves may leave a print, sometimes bleach will take better in some areas then others, bleach may bleed etc.) Please check your piece when you receive it for any flaws prior to cutting the lace, once the lace has been cut we will not able to accept a return. Cuts may not be the perfect, layers may not be perfect, bangs may not fall perfectly on you since it’s not done in person but on a mannequin and the shape and size of a persons head may cause the cut to sit slightly different. We suggest taking your piece in locally to have it cut in on you.
Cap staining/color bleed
color stains on the cap/lace or color bleed when washing is normal with custom color pieces. *With highly pigmented/bright/fun/bold colors use cold water and wash separately to prevent color bleed on to the rest of the hair. With highly pigmented colors try to limit washing to slow fade as these colors fade faster then standard color and please note these colors stain when they are wet.
Do you bleach knots?
Sometimes, you’ll want to check each listings descriptions and it will state whether they are done or not. We do bleach knots because of the popularity and high demand even though we do not recommend it. The knot on a wig is it’s anchor so when we go in a bleach the knots we are weakening the hairs anchor to the wig increasing shedding. While bleached knots may give a more undetectable hair line it also causes the wig to shed significantly faster so if you need longevity out of your hair piece we do recommend using powder to hide knots vs bleaching knots. Please be advised with bleached knots there may be bleeding from knots into actual hair or some spots that don’t take as well as others and this is normal! bleached knots may be imperfect. Please check your wig prior to cutting the lace because once the lace is cut or return period expired you will not be eligible for a return.
Do you offer preplucked hair lines?
We do on some of our wigs, you’ll want to check the listing as well as photos to see if it is preplucked. Keep in mind that preplucked hair lines are more fragile and will cause the front hair line to shed faster. Keep this in mind when purchasing your wig. For longevity we would recommend a wig that is not preplucked.
Can something come without a tag?
Yes, although rare it is possible for a piece to ship without a tag.
What are your hours?
We are open Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm EST and try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours of our normal business hours.
Can I use heat to style my wig/topper/extensions?
yes, ofcourse! We do recommend keeping it low around 300 degrees to lessen the damage done.
Do your prices include customs fees?
No, Please be aware of your country's customs import allowances and restrictions. As the importer, customs import duties/fees/taxes are the customer's responsibility and are not included in our prices.
Do you ship internationally?
yes, we ship world wide with the exception of Italy. At this time we do not ship to Italy.
Will you lower the value on a customs form or write “gift”?
No, our packages will be sent declaring the correct contents and their value
Risk of loss or delay
All packages once shipped to you are the responsibility of the recipient. Lu’s Wigs will not be held responsible for orders with incorrect shipping information provided. lost/stolen/delayed packages are outside of our control however, we will do our best to assist you.
Do you require a signature?
We have temporarily stopped signature requests due to covid. If you would like us to add a signature requirement please ask prior to purchase and we will. We may require a signature at our discretion.

Custom Orders are made specific to all your order details and made to suit one individuals needs (cap construction, size, hair color, length, density, haircut, etc.) and for this reason are not returnable/refundable nor can they be cancelled. Customs take approximately 16-18 weeks to complete, this is an approximation and may take more or less time although I do my best to complete them on time! Photos for approval are sent before it ships to you. Coupons/Codes can not be used on custom orders. Once a custom order has been placed we can not accept changes to the order. Quotes are good for 30 days and price will be honored if the order is placed within the 30 day window. Prices are subject to change. Unforeseen delays from the ongoing pandemic are a possibility and outside of our control. Payment due in full upfront. customs fees are not included in the price, they are the buyers responsibility, custom colors do have some variation but we do our best to get as close as possible
Brush your wig/topper before and after wearing. Washing every 4 weeks is perfect, use our “Renew” argon oil shampoo and our “Replenish” argon oil conditioner when washing, do not scrub the hair, you want to gently pet the shampoo/conditioner on and gently wash out all shampoo and conditioner using cool to Luke warm water (never hot). Always let your wig/topper air dry completely before styling or brushing. While your alternative hair is air drying you’ll want to use our “Refresh” gentle detangler or our “Restore” leave in conditioner. I like to alternate these every other wash. Once your hair is dry you’ll want to use our “Rejuvinate” gloss serum for rubbing between your hands and running mid-ends of hair to keep it from getting dry since your hair piece is not receiving the same natural oils that our bio hair does.
Silicone Mix and our “Revive” hair masque can be used as a great deep conditioner for the hair pieces that can be done every 3-4 washes when you feel like the hair needs it. it really revives the piece. When styling, If you use heat tools keep the heat at 300 degrees, to ensure longevity of your piece and finish your styling off by using our “Revitalize” glossing laminate for a healthy post style shine!
Discount Code Policy
Only one code may be used per transaction. Use of a discount code does not make it a final sale unless item is noted as a final sale item. Final sale items are ineligible for return/exchange. Discount codes are one time use per customer. Discount codes can not be combined with a store credit. If you forgot to enter or incorrectly entered a discount code upon checkout we can not add it after you’ve paid. We do not refund the difference. If you are having trouble applying a code please ask for help prior to checking out.
