This wooden brush is a combination of boar bristle mixed with nylon pins without the dot on its end, which helps to prevent snagging on wefts. The boar hair helps in bringing a healthy shine while the nylon pin provides detangling. This is a great brush for detangling. This brush should be avoided when in contact with lace or lace top and be focused primarily in the area with wefts. For an all over gentle brush we would recommend our bamboo paddle brush.
