Lu's Kids Fund

Lu was 14 when her hair started falling out.

It was androgenic alopecia. At an age when everyone around her was figuring out who they were, she was looking in the mirror and not seeing herself. Finding a wig that fit well, looked natural and actually felt like her seemed impossible.

She never forgot that feeling. It's why Lu's Wigs exists. And it's why, now, she makes sure other girls don't go without.

What the Kids Fund does

Hair loss is hard at any age. For a child, it can change everything: how she feels walking into school, whether she wants her picture taken, whether she recognizes the girl in the mirror.

Through the Lu's Kids Fund, we give complimentary custom human hair wigs to children up to age 17 who are experiencing medical hair loss, at no cost to her or her family.

Her wig is made for her. Her size. Her color. The style she's been dreaming about. And then comes the moment we live for: she puts it on, looks in the mirror and finally sees herself again. We've seen the joy, the tears and the smile, and it never gets old.

How you're part of it

We never ask for donations. Lu's Wigs pays for every Kids Fund wig from our own profits.
